Here To There – Marketing

ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES

During the early days of television, shows and sitcoms, in particular, had regular advertising sponsors which became uniquely identified with the content. This is now possible again as that successful business model is resurrected in the digital era where today’s branding is all about that ultra-important “Return On Investment.” A built-in reach comes from our regular cast, crew, and guest stars (drawing on 80s and 90s sitcoms as well as daytime drama actors) and totals close to half a million social media followers every week.

If sponsorship opportunities are available, Here To There could sail with not one, but two alternating advertisers attached. There could be opening and closing billboards, three act breaks (ideal for :30 or :60 messages), and live/scripted reads/endorsements by our highly recognizable cast that would connect to a desirable 25-54 audience.

Additionally, we could feature desirable product placement opportunities. Consider what you see on any public transportation. There are laptop computers/ tablets, coffee, snack foods, sneakers, and WiFi services. With a car deck available, the automotive arena opens wide.

Everything old is new again.

MAXIMIZATION OF AUDIENCE REACH

Today, all available body parts contribute to audience from eyes to ears to finger clicks. It’s about developing a product that can cross all media platforms. While Here To There is clearly video, cross-platforming maximizes audience reach. Here To There can deliver all of the above.

We want to introduce the series prior to it being downloaded or streamed with an audio component – a weekly podcast airing two to three months prior. A detailed and fun look at the development of a new sitcom from concept to cast to production including all principals in front of and behind the camera. If there are more seasons, the podcast can return and bridge the episodes.

When production starts, a daily Vlog done by one of the cast members takes the audience step-by-step through the production schedule. This can also be accompanied by Facebook live vignettes, Instagram stories, table reads, backstage, wardrobe changes...okay maybe we’ll let the cast have a little privacy. Meanwhile, what about some contest opportunities for viewers/listeners/fans to be “guest” commuters.

By the way, all of the above can come complete with advertiser participation and mentions.
